Does the price change if I coach a team?

  • Yes, the registration fee of one player will be waved if you are chosen to coach. Please pay now and the amount will be refunded once the season starts.

How old does my child have to be to play soccer?

  • Children need to be at least 3 years old to play. The oldest grade is 7th Grade.

Do I need to buy shin guards, soccer socks, or cleats?

  • Yes, shin guards with soccer socks are needed for all ages. Cleats however are only needed for 4th grade and up. Please cut off the front toe spike if using old football cleats. Referees will check this at the beginning of every game.

Are the teams co-ed?

  • Yes, all the teams have both boys and girls.

When are practices?

  • Practices are not mandatory and are determined by volunteer coaches. They may be before or after games or on another day of the week. Parents are responsible for your own players throughout any practice or game. Coaches do not have background checks and are not babysitters.

Can I request siblings to be on the same team if they are in different age groups?

  • Yes, we try to accommodate siblings and preferences but are unable to guarantee placement with siblings or friends. Please state the team you would prefer they were both on during registration.

Where do games take place?

How can I register my child?

  • All registration is done online through this website.

How much are the registration fees?

  • $25 PreK-3rd grade and $30 4th-7th grade before March 31st paid at time of registration. Additional $5 fee after March 31st and no guarantee of jersey.

When is the registration period?

  • February 1st – March 31st.

Can I register late?

  • We may be able to accept late registrations up till April 10th. Please send us a direct message at uconsoccer@gmail.com to see if open slots are available. Late registration is an additional $5 and no guarantee of jersey.

When are teams posted?

  • Teams assignments and competition schedules will be sent to you by coaches the first week of April. Team preference requests MUST be submitted previously with registration.

When do I receive my shirt?

  • Coaches will hand out shirts at the beginning of the first game.

How competitive are the teams?

  • This is a recreation group. It is as competitive or laid back as the people who sign up. We often see beginner and intermediate players. Those who are more serious about soccer typically use one of the competition teams in the area.
